Work page, with scrollable content panes
Vince & Son are a creative studio that was born out of a much older family firm. Originally established in 1868 as a carriage-building business, the name was re-purposed in 2010 by a descendant of the original founding Vinces to build on the foundations of trust and reputation that the original enterprise prided itself on, and to carry on the family name in a new market sector.
To mark the company’s ‘re-launch’ at an event at the Design Museum in London, Vince & Son needed their designs for a new website translated from Adobe Illustrator flats to a pixel-perfect HTML5+CSS3 frontend in record time. Designed to show off the brand’s rich heritage in its former incarnation and the present-day creative work and art projects now being produced under the Vince & Son banner, the user interface was enhanced with multi-directional, jQuey-powered scrollable content panes, with a bespoke backend built on the open source MODx CMS platform.
